Sewing Machine Operators
Our Sewing Machine Operators use industrial sewing equipment to produce and finish a variety of fabric-based products. Team members work from production instructions,select the appropriate materials and machine settings, and inspect their work to ensure
it meets our quality standards.
This role is well suited for someone with good hand-eye coordination who enjoys detailed, hands-on work and takes pride in producing a quality finished product.
Typical work may include:
Operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment
Working with different fabrics, threads, trims, and attachments
Following work orders and production specifications
Inspecting finished pieces for quality
Making basic machine adjustments and identifying equipment issues

Swatching Associates
Swatching is at the heart of what we do at Acme Sample. Our Swatching Associates help transform fabric into organized, accurately identified samples that can be used in
displays, sample books, folders, and other customer marketing materials.
The work involves a variety of hands-on tasks and equipment and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Typical work may include:
Preparing and attaching fabric swatches to sample cards and folders
Matching fabrics with the correct customer labels
Gluing, drilling, grommeting, collating, and sorting samples
Adding Velcro, hangers, strips, and other components
Preparing and boxing completed work for customers
Checking finished products for accuracy and quality
Tag & Assembly Associates
Our Tag & Assembly Associates put the finishing touches on many of the sample products we create. These team members combine individual components to build
finished sample sets, fabric books, tags, and other presentation materials according to customer specifications.
This position offers variety throughout the workday and is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, works carefully, and can maintain accuracy while
meeting production goals.
Typical work may include:
Building fabric sample books and sample sets
Counting, sorting, collating, and boxing samples
Attaching identification tags, backing strips, labels, and eyelets
Drilling and preparing samples to customer specifications
Operating gluing, laminating, creasing, and other production equipment
Inspecting finished products against approved samples
